Linux Network Engineer responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver network architectures for AV platforms, incorporating high-performance sensors and systems.
- Design and implement topologies tailored for autonomous vehicle applications.
- Create diagnostics to monitor and enhance network health, performance, and fault detection.
- Address and improve network latency, stability, and traffic performance.
- Configure embedded systems for seamless communication between vehicle systems and cloud platforms.
- Optimise embedded Linux solutions to support real-time, autonomous applications.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient configurations.
Linux Network Engineer requirements:
- Proven expertise in embedded systems and network engineering.
- Proficiency in Embedded Linux, including kernel development and RTOS.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux network stacks and diagnostics.
- Experience with embedded computers and controllers in automotive or robotics settings.
- Familiarity with time-sensitive networking and cellular modem connectivity.
- Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills.
