Junior Product Owner

What You'll Do:

Agile Facilitation:

• Assist in managing Scrum ceremonies, such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the team in maintaining focus and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Backlog Management:

• Help refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure that user stories are well-defined and ready for development.

Roadmaps & Timelines:

• Collaborate with senior team members to define and communicate product roadmaps and timelines.
• Track progress and address blockers to ensure timely delivery.

Learning & Collaboration:

• Work closely with an experienced mentor to learn the intricacies of managing software products at Vertikal.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver exceptional products.

Tool Usage:

• Utilize tools like Jira, Miro, and other similar tools to track tasks, document requirements, and create reports.
• Stay organized and ensure clear communication across all project stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a product owner, scrum master, or related role.

Skills:

• Familiarity with agile concepts like backlogs, roadmaps, and sprint cycles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of tools like Jira, Word, and Excel.

Language: Native or near-native English proficiency is required.

Mindset: A proactive, eager-to-learn individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.
