We are looking for a Game Economy Designer with relocation to Cyprus

As a Game Economy Designer within the team, you play a pivotal role in crafting and managing systems that enhance player experiences, fostering engagement, retention, and monetization. Your responsibilities encompass the intricate design and balancing of game economy features aligned with the product's strategic vision.

✅Key responsibilities:

✔️Design and balance complex game economy systems featuring multiple currencies, progression systems, sinks, sources, and monetization points.

✔️Develop post-launch economies, integrating limited-time events, reward structures, and purchases, adapting to support new features throughout the product lifecycle.

✔️Collaborate with the analytics team to collect and analyze data on economy, engagement, and monetization.

✔️Provide insightful reports, suggesting and implementing optimizations to enhance performance.

✔️Act as the resident authority on specific areas of the game economy, overseeing daily updates and content pricing.

✔️Establish and fine-tune the economy, focusing on metrics such as engagement time, retention, GGR, and LTV.

✔️Take full ownership of game monetization, managing pricing of virtual goods and balancing incentivized and purchased items.

✔️Recommend rewards and monetization features to create a robust economic system that meets player needs.

✔️Provide comprehensive documentation, diagrams, calculation models, analyses, wireframes, and prototypes.

✔️Communicate the holistic view of the game economy to facilitate vetting of concepts and ideas.

✅Requirements:

✔️Minimum of 3 years designing digital game economies, with at least 1 year optimizing for live service games.

✔️Proven success in game system design, balancing, pacing, and monetization strategies.

✔️Highly analytical with expertise in building models and tools for simulating and analyzing game economies and player behavior.

✔️Strong econometrics skills, capable of translating problems into quantitative systems.

✔️Proficiency in spreadsheet management and manipulation of large datasets.

✔️Bonus points for experience with SQL, programming languages (Python, C#, VBA), and testing methods (A/B, multivariate, statistical hypothesis).

✔️Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics (preferred).

✔️Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

✔️Fluent in English.

✔️Knowledge of microeconomics and pricing theory.

✔️Passion for various game formats, including board games, card games, sports, casino, casual games, RPGs etc
