They are looking for an SAP BI/Data Architect (m/w/d) to join the diverse operations team in Switzerland.

Location: Lugano

Permanent or limited contract: Permanent

Salary: (depending on experience level) up to CHF 150.000 (gross)

What you will do

• Creating the data architecture on scope, requirements and business strategy; as well as designing the data modelling layer and its authorization concept
• Analysing structural requirements for new software and applications and migrating data to new solutions
• Improving system performance and optimizing new and current database systems
• Define security and backup procedures
• Lead RFX projects as well as teams in a multi-cultural environment

Your profile

• Experience in either logistics services, material handling industry or other manufacturing industries
• Demonstrable knowledge of architectural standards and methodologies (for example: TDWI, EA, ITIL) or project management methodologies (Activate/ASAP, PMI/PMBOK, PRINCE2, etc.)
• Previous experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
• Familiar with the use of process management applications like Signavio, LeanIX, Celonis, SYMBIO, etc.
• Technical expertise: Data modelling tools (e.g. Datasphere, Fabrics, etc.); data visualization tools (e.g. SAC, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc)
• Fluency in English
