Contract-to-Hire (6 months)

Location: Onsite in Myrtle Beach Area, SC (Relocation assistance provided)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a dynamic Manager of Network Engineering. In this role, you will oversee the development, deployment, and management of network infrastructure, ensuring seamless and secure connectivity. This role involves leading a small team of engineers and collaborating with vendor partners. Travel to South Carolina once a month is required during the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and optimization of SD-WAN, WAN, LAN, and wireless networks for high availability and security.
• Mentor and guide a team of network engineers.
• Oversee the deployment and management of Cisco and Palo Alto equipment.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality and value.
• Regularly evaluate and report on network performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience with Cisco technologies, including network design and management.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
