Senior Java Developer

Remuneration: Up to 180 PLN/h on B2B contract (depending on experience)

Work model: 100% remote (within EU only) with potential trips to Norway

Start date: Maximum within 30 calendar days (mandatory)

End date: Long-term cooperation

Project responsibilities and team:

Join a team (consisting of skilled Front and Backend Developers along with Tech Product Manager, Software Development Manager and QA Engineers) and be responsible for further development of the search service (primarily developed in Java paired with Elastic search powering the search engine) making data easily accessible for end users and internal teams.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience enterprise Java development
• 6+ years of experience as a Spring application developer
• Strong knowledge on Spring frameworks specially Spring Cloud frameworks
• Experience with microservices development
• Experience with development of RESTful services
• Good troubleshooting/debugging skills
• Spring application observability improvement (profiling, interpreting/analysing application metrics) skills
• Practical Knowledge on design patterns/clean code/ clean architecture is preferable
• Experience with data intensive/even driven/messaging/streaming applications

You would be considered an ideal candidate if you have the following as well:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and related tools.
• Deployment in Kubernetes platform
• Experience with Elasticsearch stack

• Great team spirit and enthusiasm to learn and adapt/work with new tech stacks
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
