Network / Platform Security Architect Quantum (relocation to Belgium)

We are seeking a talented Security Platform Architect willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.

We are seeking a Hybrid Security Platform Architect to lead the security evolution of our hybrid platform components. This role is critical to ensuring that both on-premises and cloud-based environments remain secure and ready for future challenges, including post-quantum security. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing robust platform architectures in collaboration with key stakeholders like Global Security and the Platform Service Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the security transformation of hybrid platform components, including on-prem solutions (e.g., HP, VMware, Cisco, Juniper) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
• Design and implement strategies for post-quantum cryptographic readiness, aligning with emerging standards and best practices.
• Implement and enhance Zero Trust architecture and network segmentation strategies across hybrid environments.
• Support the development and evolution of secure platform architectures in close collaboration with Global Security and Platform Service Organization.
• Provide technical expertise in SDWAN technologies, particularly Juniper, to optimize and secure network performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with industry best practices for hybrid platform security.
• Document and maintain architectural frameworks, principles, and guidelines to ensure scalable and secure platform operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Juniper SDWAN Expertise: Junior-level experience (1-3 years) working with Juniper SDWAN technologies.
• Platform Security and Post-Quantum Expertise: Senior-level experience (6-9 years) in securing platform components with a focus on post-quantum security readiness.
• Zero Trust and Network Segmentation: Senior-level experience (6-9 years) designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures, including network segmentation.
• Strong understanding of hybrid platform environments, including on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and align security strategies with business objectives.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Cisco Secure, VMware NSX, and AWS Security Hub.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic protocols and frameworks, including post-quantum cryptography.
• Knowledge of security standards and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CSA.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
