Senior Python Engineer - FinTech - Fully Remote UK or EU - £85K + Benefits!
Overview
We have partnered with a well-funded FinTech client and are on the lookout for skilled Senior Python Engineers to help scale their platform across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to work with top brands in the UK and contribute to their growing presence throughout Europe!
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and manage various Python-based applications
- Collaborate closely with our CTO on technical design and architecture, applying your deep expertise to solve complex challenges
- Take shared ownership of our production environment, supporting and troubleshooting user and system issues when needed
- Oversee the migration of existing Django projects, leveraging your Python experience
- Lead in planning, discovery, implementation, testing (with a focus on automation), deployment, release, and support processes
Requirements
- Expert-level Python skills with 5+ years of hands-on experience
- In-depth experience with Django
- Familiarity with AWS (Bonus)
- Comfortable working across re-architecture and migrating microservices (Bonus)
