About the Role:
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications, including CMS, e-commerce, and financial systems. You will play a crucial role in testing functionality, UI/UX, cross-functional integration, and API interactions. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with a Singapore-based Product Owner.

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications, including CMS, e-commerce, and financial systems. You will play a crucial role in testing functionality, UI/UX, cross-functional integration, and API interactions. This role requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with a Singapore-based Product Owner.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications, covering functional, UI/UX, and integration aspects.
- Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman to validate robust and reliable software interactions.
- Verify data integrity using basic SQL and other data retrieval methods.
- Conduct black-box and UI/UX testing on both web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify integration points, manage service dependencies, and ensure consistent data flow between services.
- Effectively communicate and resolve issues to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Continuously adapt to new tools and methodologies.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication in English, especially with our Singapore-based Product Owner.
- Work independently and take ownership of testing responsibilities.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage work pressure effectively while maintaining high quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on CMS, e-commerce, or financial systems.
- Proven experience in API testing using Postman.
- Basic SQL skills and familiarity with other data retrieval methods.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile testing principles, including black-box and UI/UX testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for interaction with a Singapore-based Product Owner.
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to manage work pressure effectively and maintain high performance.
