We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our growing team in a fully remote position based in Europe.
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and scaling our data infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative data solutions.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines using cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to collate, clean, and analyze extensive datasets
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions
- Assist in optimizing SQL queries and database performance
- Participate in data discovery activities and perform root cause analysis for data quality issues
- Support the development of data visualization tools and dashboards
- Contribute to the implementation of data engineering best practices and methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of SQL querying and development (e.g., joins, stored procedures, aggregations)
- Basic experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- Knowledge of Python or other programming languages relevant to data engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices
