Technical Training/Consultancy Lead - Linux Kernel and Security

About the Role: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Technical Training/Consultancy (Pre/Post-Sales) Lead to lead a small, dedicated team focused on delivering world-class training courses and consulting on many open-source projects, such as the Linux kernel, OP-TEE, KVM, and general upstreaming, predominantly within the Arm ecosystem. Your expertise will be instrumental in empowering engineers with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in these critical technologies and create opportunities for Linaro's business.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales/Post-Sales Consultancy:

• Be a technical point of contact throughout the sales process and able to leverage technical knowledge to answer customer pre-sales technical questions and provide general support guidance
• Be able to act as delivery director for small services consulting projects
• Help create demos and proofs of concepts, and removing sales blockers and demonstrate technical solutions and articulate how products or services can meet customer needs
• Provide general technical support
  
  

Curriculum Development

• Design and develop comprehensive training curricula that align with industry best practices and learner needs.
• Create engaging and effective learning materials, including slides, hands-on labs, and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Linux kernel, OP-TEE, and KVM technologies.
  
  

Training Delivery

• Deliver high-quality training sessions to a diverse audience, including engineers, researchers, and students.
• Adapt training content to different learning styles and experience levels.
• Facilitate interactive learning experiences through discussions, Q&A sessions, and hands-on exercises.
  
  

Team Leadership

• Recruit, hire, and mentor a team of skilled trainers and instructional designers.
• Together, we will foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality training.
• Integrate the team into the rest of LInaro's OSS strategy
  
  

Business Development

• Leverage your experience to work with the sales and marketing teams to provide training in areas that support the business and allow opportunities to supply partners with short-term, focused support beyond training.
