Python API Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced remote Python engineer to work on one of our client engagements. This role will involve collaborating with other members of the development team to create a new product from start to finish, in addition to supporting additional applications that are already live.

This role will be fully remote, with the potential for occasional co-working space meetings for collaboration purposes.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality software
• Aid in estimation and delivery of software features
• Communicate clear updates on work in progress
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Debugging and bug fixing
• Requirements analysis and feedback

Requirements

• Experience with creating APIs in Python (Preferably FastAPI)
• Experience with Django
• Experience with relational databases (Preferably Postgres)

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Next.js/React
• Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with infrastructure as code

This role is a full time temporary contract outside of IR35 up until March 2025 with a chance for extension.
