Operational Security Engineer (relocation to Belgium)
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Operational Security Engineer willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.
You will play a critical role in safeguarding our systems and infrastructure by managing, maintaining, and enhancing our security measures. This role demands a seasoned professional with at least 7 years of relevant experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about advancing security practices.
Responsibilities:
As an Operational Security Engineer, you will:
- Security Infrastructure Management:
- Participate in security projects, install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
- Identify, implement, and document system security requirements.
- Collaborate on the implementation and testing of new security features.
- Develop, automate, and implement solutions for vulnerabilities.
- Specialized Tasks:
- Certificates & Cipher Suite Management: Monitor certificate expiry and incorrect TLS & Cipher Suite settings, apply corrections.
- Antivirus Management: Update antivirus agents, manage EPO configurations.
- Patch Management: Analyze emergency patches, identify impacted assets, and manage patching of Linux systems.
- System Hardening: Apply hardening standards, automate configurations, and ensure compliance with security controls.
- IDP Management: Maintain existing IDP infrastructure, install and configure new components.
- SIEM Operations: Ensure all assets have CyberSOC agents installed, simulate and test new use cases, automate CyberSOC updates.
- Windows Server Security: Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities on Windows Server systems.
- CyberArk Operations: Maintain and enhance CyberArk infrastructure, install and configure new features.
Mandatory Skills and Expertise:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in operational security engineering.
- Proficient in Windows Server 2022.
- Strong experience with automation and scripting tools: Ansible, Bash, Python, PowerShell.
- Expertise in Keycloak and Netscaler.
- Proven experience with CyberArk.
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, standards, and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
