Role Description
We would like to stress that this is a remote volunteer role – without financial compensation – for a Squarespace Developer at Y Entertainment. The Squarespace Developer will be responsible for helping designing, developing, and maintaining websites within the Squarespace platform. Day-to-day tasks include customizing templates, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the overall functionality and user experience of the websites.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Squarespace development and customization
- Experience in web design and UX/UI principles
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize website performance
- Experience with responsive and mobile design
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with other CMS platforms is a plus
- Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
