Firewall Engineer

NSC Global is currently looking for a Firewall Audit Engineer to join our growing company.

This job opportunity will be fully remote under a 12-month renewable contact.

Responsibilities

• To follow the Firewall Audit (Rule Tidy) process

• Investigate and remove any unused firewall rules that are older than 12 months from the firewall estate across both fO2 and FVM. This would be done using the Tufin servers (SecureTrack/SecureChange) on each side.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with:

− Check Point

− Fortinet

− Juniper SRX (some)

• Advantageous to have good working knowledge of Tufin, SecureChange and SecureTrack

• Experience of working with change control processes and ticketing systems Helix and/or Remedy.
