2D Generalist

We’re looking for a versatile 2D Generalist with skills in illustration, concept art, and animation to join our art team. You’ll create a variety of assets for Grimguard, from character designs to environmental art, bringing our game world to life with a cohesive and captivating style. 

Responsibilities: 

• Create 2D assets including characters, environments, icons, and UI elements that align with the game’s visual style. 
• Collaborate with the art and design teams to brainstorm and develop concepts that enhance gameplay and storytelling. 
• Produce sketches, illustrations, and animations as needed to support the game’s visual and narrative goals. 
• Ensure high quality, consistent art production while meeting deadlines. 
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the game’s visual style. 

Requirements: 

• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in 2D art, illustration, and animation, preferably in gaming. 
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects). 
• Versatile art style with an understanding of game design principles and player experience. 
• Strong collaborative skills and a willingness to adapt to project needs. 
• Unity experience is a plus.
