Azure Cloud Network Engineer (Azure networking, Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki)

Fully Remote - UK team

£65,000 - £70,000 per annum

Looking to work with an innovate global software business who offer fully remote working? An opportunity for an ambitious Azure Cloud Network Engineer has arisen within a company whose work culture thrives on autonomy and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

·Design, implement and manage high-performance, secure and scalable network infrastructures.

·Manage and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco and Meraki switches.

·Administer Barracuda WAFs and LB’s.

·Manage Azure networking components including vnets, peering, UDRs, service endpoints, landing zones, Azure vWAN, etc.

·Implement IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions within the Azure platform.

·Handle DNS, DHCP, and routing tasks.

·Troubleshoot network issues effectively and efficiently.

·Ability to provide training on networking concepts and technologies.

·Collaborate with team members to innovate and develop new network solutions.

Skills required:

·Extensive experience in network engineering.

·Proficient in managing Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco and Meraki switches.

·Strong experience in Azure cloud networking (Vnets, landing zones, endpoints, etc)

·Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and routing

·Excellent problem-solving skills

·Strong written and verbal communication skills

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team that operates globally
