 Role Overview:  

As a Back-End Engineer at fyaora, you will be responsible for developing the backbone of our cross-platform solution, ensuring smooth integration between web and mobile interfaces. Your work will involve designing, scaling, and maintaining our cloud-based architecture using AWS to support three core interfaces:

1. Customer-facing application.

2. Service provider-facing interface.

3. Admin console.

This role requires close collaboration with front-end, mobile, and DevOps teams to ensure high performance, reliability, and seamless integration across all platforms.

 Responsibilities:  

- Architect & develop robust and scalable back-end services using Node.js.

- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS for deployment and scaling.

- Implement real-time communication features using Socket.io or Pusher for instant notifications and updates.

- Automate payment processing using Stripe.js, and handle accounting integrations with Plaid for streamlined financial management.

- Ensure secure API communication using JWT for token-based authentication, integrated with Firebase Authentication or Auth0.

- Collaborate with the front-end and mobile teams to ensure smooth and secure data flow across customer, provider, and admin interfaces.

- Optimize and scale applications to ensure reliability, performance, and fault tolerance for a growing user base.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or CircleCI for automated testing and deployment.

- Use Postman and Swagger to document and test APIs, ensuring clean and maintainable back-end code.

- Monitor performance and security using tools like Sentry and AWS CloudWatch to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

 Proficiency Requirements:  

- Expertise in Node.js for building and managing APIs (both REST and GraphQL using Axios or Apollo Client).

- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudFront.

- Proficiency with Socket.io or Pusher for implementing real-time features.

- Experience with Stripe.js for payment processing and Plaid for financial integration.

- Deep understanding of JWT, Auth0, or Firebase Authentication for secure API integration.

- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or CircleCI for building automated CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience using Postman for API testing and Swagger for API documentation.

- Knowledge of Redux Toolkit and React Query to support efficient state management in collaboration with front-end development.

- Experience using Sentry and AWS CloudWatch for performance monitoring and error tracking.
