Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all Chainstack’s positions are fully remote, and you can work from home. Responsibilities: 

• Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the workload of an engineering team of 8 across key focus areas:  

      Platform for customers  

      Nodes & Infrastructure  

      Data Indexing  

• Quarterly Planning & Execution: Set and manage the team's quarterly goals, workload, and key performance indicators to achieve company objectives.  
• People Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent development; conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews to foster growth and engagement.  
• Incident Management: Drive incident resolution, post-mortems, and root cause analysis, ensuring consistent reliability.  
• Documentation Oversight: Maintain and improve technical documentation across all components to ensure clarity and ease of knowledge sharing. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams, driving a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance.  
• Python/Golang proficiency 
• Expertise in project and workload planning  
• Strong background in maintaining comprehensive documentation practices across complex technical components. 

Nice to Have:  

• Experience in leading infrastructure/operations teams 
• Experience in running blockchain nodes  
• System Design: Ability to engage in system architecture and design of new features.  
• Data Operations Knowledge: Understanding of ETL processes for product analytics.
