What does your day to day look like?

· Experience in security engineering, solution architecture, and business analysis to support the design of solutions that span people, processes, and technology.

· A strong passion for exploring new and emerging security technologies.

· At least 3 years of experience as a Security Engineer.

· BA in IT with a focus on Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science.

· Advanced knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, CSPM solutions, and security monitoring (SIEM) tools.

· Excellent writing skills, both technical and non-technical.

· Advanced knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP).

· Expertise in application development processes and at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Scala, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, PowerShell).

· Strong understanding of networking concepts, including public vs. private IP, MAC addressing, DNS, OSI model, and DHCP.

· Experience with SIEM tools like MS Sentinel and QRadar, as well as SOAR tools.

· Strong analytical skills.

· A solid grasp of frameworks like NIST CSF and ISO 27001 certifications.

· Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

· Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities with sound judgment.

· Enjoy collaborating with teams and sharing information.

· Excellent collaboration skills to translate technical language into business terms.

· Practical knowledge of Windows client/server, Unix/Linux systems, and Mac OS X.

What we’re looking for?

· Experience with Lacework Cloud Security Solutions.

· Familiarity with Zscaler Products and Solutions.

· Experience with Microsoft security solutions.

· Leading security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH/ECIH, etc.

· Experience working in a fast-paced security team supporting product/engineering functions, cloud infrastructure, and corporate infrastructure development.
