Senior Manual QA Tester (f/m/d)

As a Senior Manual QA Tester, you will join the R&D team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to identify, escalate and resolve quality issues, as well as develop and maintain quality metrics and reports.

What you will do:

• Develop and implement the QA strategy, policies, procedures, and standards for the backend services team.
• Work closely with the development and product management teams to understand product requirements and communicate changes
• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure that products meet quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis on quality issues and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports, and communicate quality status and progress to stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the QA processes, and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with customer support to identify, escalate and resolve quality issues reported by customers.
  
  
  

The optimal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant technical ability
• At least 4-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, API testing or UI/UX testing
• Knowledge of API Testing principles and best practices
• Proficiency in manual API Testing using Postman is a must
• Knowledge of writing pre-request scripts and tests for automated test runs with Postman, is a plus
• Knowledge of Databases - performing transactions, running scripts etc.
• Demonstrated interest in developing and implementing QA strategies, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Good knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Handson with QA process management i.e. ticket creation, management & prioritization etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus.
