Back End Developer

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to join us in building technology that makes a difference. In this role, you will play an essential part in designing, developing, and optimising Django-based applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with our clients' missions to create positive change. As a senior member of the team, you’ll contribute to technical strategy and guide best practices for building solutions that truly matter.

• Develop and maintain Django back-end applications, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Design and build a strong infrastructure for custom-made applications.
• Design and implement APIs to power digital solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with our front-end developers, project managers, and clients to build cohesive, user-centered solutions.
• Optimize server-side performance and manage database architecture for high efficiency.
• Drive discussions around back-end architecture and best practices, ensuring quality and sustainability.
• Champion security and data protection practices across all applications.
• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-impact team culture.

• Several years of experience with Django and Python.
• Expertise in database management (i.e.: PostgreSQL, MySQL) and server optimization.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), infrastructure building and architecture.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of web security protocols and data protection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Leadership skills.
• Perfect command of English in a working setting. Spanish and French language skills are positively valued.
