Essential Technical skills:
- Experienced Python Developer to be part of a team working on strategic and tactical projects for the Wholesale Lending business
- Strong knowledge and development experience using Advanced Python
- Proficient in Python development, Experience in developing RESTful web services, preferably Fast API (or) Flask, Django and API development.
- Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development
- Experience in microservices - commercial experience with messaging
- Hands on software engineer who will be writing code daily
- Demonstrate knowledge on code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD
- Understanding of both relational and non-relational databases
- Able to write shell & batch programs
- Experience in version control tools like GIT, SVN and Bitbucket
Essential soft skills:
- Enthusiasm for learning and pursuing development of new skills
- Ability to work independently with end users to gather requirements and design solutions
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
Desirable:
- Experience in python-based streaming (ETL/Kafka) development is preferred
- Experience in k8's is preferred
- Experience with MongoDB preferred
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Exposure to Ul development work
