Do you want to shape the future of high-level sports? Our partner is an international business within the sports sector who are seeking Principal Software Engineering Architect to join their expanding technical team.
Responsibilities of the position:
- Design and architect all business solutions within and around the existing landscape.
- Oversee overall design integrity and develop future state infrastructures and solutions to support modern, intelligent services and user experiences through technological innovation.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and partner with leaders and teams across the business.
- Drive critical systems for the company while aligning delivery with corporate roadmap objectives and leading the intelligence wave in the industry.
- Regularly engage with the executive level and have a significant technical impact across the company.
Technical Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive engineering experience with OOP languages e.g. as C, C++, C#, or Python.
- Strong architectural and design experience in highly available, large-scale cloud services, and distributed systems.
- Are familiar with application development in containers (e.g. Kubernetes), application observability and monitoring as well as security by design practices and tools
- Deep knowledge and understanding of software architecture, design trade-offs, and mature DevSecOps culture practices.
- You have previously has experience with machine learning model development, release, and operations.
Other requirements:
- Fluent English Is Essential but Knowledge of French and/or German is nice to have nut NOT required.
- Personality type: Visionary and entrepreneurial mindset + Strong communication skills.
- Availability for travel within Switzerland and abroad (approximately 20% of the time).
Note: Citizens of any EU Country will be considered for the position which includes a relocation package, especially if you can speak French or German.
