Senior Oracle Database Engineer - Relocation to NL

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join a high-performing tech team that drives digital transformation for a global financial institution. You’ll play a key role in managing complex IT systems for corporate banking and work on projects that span multiple regions, including Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Relocation

This position is based in the Netherlands, and relocation is required. Comprehensive relocation assistance will be provided to support your move.

Requirement

• Technical expertise in WebLogic, Middleware, Oracle Database, and Linux is required,.
• Knowledge of Azure, Splunk, and HPSM9 is a plus.
• Proven experience in Agile, Lean, and ITIL methodologies.
• Ability to combine business domain knowledge with IT solutions, identifying key risks and solution
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Availability for a 40-hour workweek, including standby shifts and weekend deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and support critical IT systems with hands-on expertise in: Weblogic (12.2.1.3 & 12.2.1.4), Fusion Middleware (12.2.1.3 & 12.2.1.4), SOA/BPM/ADF, OHS, OTD, Oracle DB 19c, SQL/PLSQL, Linux and Flexcube (12.3 & 14)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system improvements and ensure high availability
• Leverage tools such as cloud platforms (Azure), monitoring tools (Splunk), and ITSM solutions to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the system.
• Foster a culture of automation within the team to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks.
• Balance between smaller and larger-scale releases, managing dependencies across the IT landscape.
• Ensure controlled system updates and releases, following strict quality protocols and processes.
• Contribute to automated testing frameworks and oversee the lifecycle of critical environments.
