The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to drive development across our product portfolio. In this high-impact role, you'll:
- Build next-generation search and data infrastructure
- Develop AI-powered shopping features and experiences
- Design and implement scalable backend systems
- Drive technical excellence across product initiatives
- Collaborate with AI teams on cutting-edge features
You'll report to our Chief Architect and play a key role in shaping our technical direction.

- Implement AI-powered features across our product suite
- Design and deploy critical shopping journey infrastructure
- Drive technical excellence and best practices across teams
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions
- Scale systems supporting hundreds of thousands of daily users
A Day in the Life
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Demand.io, you might:
- Design and implement natural language search capabilities
- Optimize data pipelines processing millions of products
- Collaborate with AI teams on new shopping assistant features
- Review critical infrastructure changes
- Lead technical design discussions for new product features
About You
We're open to exceptional candidates at various levels - title and compensation will be commensurate with experience and impact.
Must-Haves:
- 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
- Strong background in distributed systems and data infrastructure
- Experience with search technologies (Elasticsearch preferred)
- Track record of shipping complex technical systems
- Excellence in Python and Node.js development
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with AI/ML system integration
- Background in e-commerce or marketplace platforms
- Expertise in real-time data processing
- Experience with graph or vector databases
- Prior work with large-scale data pipelines
Compensation & Growth Opportunity
At Demand.io, we align individual success with company performance:
- Competitive base salary: $180,000 - $250,000 DOE
- Equity: 0.20% - 0.40% initial grant in a $100M+ valuation company

- Substantial cash bonuses tied to company performance, paid out monthly
- Additive to already competitive core compensation package
- Potential to earn multiples of base salary through monthly profit-sharing

The Partners Program provides increasing rewards as Demand.io grows. Eligibility typically begins after 3 months based on performance, with increasing bonus percentages as you advance through Partner levels.
