Jr. Network Security Engineer (Juniper)

Key Responsibilities:

• Physically install and configure firewalls and security appliances.
• Troubleshoot Juniper SRX and Palo Alto devices.
• Ensure all devices are updated with vendor-approved firmware.
• Monitor and document firewall performance and issues.
• Create and manage virtual firewalls and VPN configurations.
• Integrate firewalls with MES systems and Juniper products.
• Collaborate on SIEM integration and firewall rulesets.
• Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Support on-call rotations and after-hours work as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in Manufacturing or Operational Technology.
• Proven experience with Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls; certifications a plus.
• Technical support experience in networking/security.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and security products.
• Proficiency in Windows, UNIX, or Linux.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
