Join our dynamic team where we prioritize innovation and security in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a motivated Jr. Network Security Engineer to enhance our network defense capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physically install and configure firewalls and security appliances.
- Troubleshoot Juniper SRX and Palo Alto devices.
- Ensure all devices are updated with vendor-approved firmware.
- Monitor and document firewall performance and issues.
- Create and manage virtual firewalls and VPN configurations.
- Integrate firewalls with MES systems and Juniper products.
- Collaborate on SIEM integration and firewall rulesets.
- Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support on-call rotations and after-hours work as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in Manufacturing or Operational Technology.
- Proven experience with Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls; certifications a plus.
- Technical support experience in networking/security.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and security products.
- Proficiency in Windows, UNIX, or Linux.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
