Long term fully remote freelance opportunity for a Network Security Engineer to join one of our leading customers in the Public Sector on their Pan-European Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation programme. The role of the Network Security Engineer will be to join an existing team of Network & Security engineers, and provide technical support to BAU/Operational support to the existing Network infrastructure, and also support new projects as well.

To be successful in this role you must have at least 5 years of experience with Cisco, and be certified in Cisco (CCNP mandatory, CCIE preferred). You must also have knowledge/experience of other tools such as: Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5 and Juniper.

Holding these certifications would also be a plus:

• Fortinet NSE 5
• F5 Certified
• CCSE
• JNCIS-SEC

If you hold Greek nationality/are based in Greece, this would be advantageous for this position.
