Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Java Cloud Architect with very good spoken French & English and who is willing to relocate to Portugal. The company offers Visa sponsorship and a comprehensive relocation package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design cloud-native solutions leveraging Java and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and implement microservices architectures for scalable and resilient applications.
- Lead the integration of cloud services with on-premise systems, ensuring a seamless and secure connection.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud deployments, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Design and implement API strategies to ensure smooth integration between various services.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in Java development and cloud architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of professional experience in Java development and cloud architectures.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in building cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architectures.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Experience in API design, including working with RESTful services and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Very good spoken English & French.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
