Java Cloud Architect with spoken French (relocation to Portugal)

We are seeking a Senior Java Cloud Architect with very good spoken French & English and who is willing to relocate to Portugal. The company offers Visa sponsorship and a comprehensive relocation package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design cloud-native solutions leveraging Java and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and implement microservices architectures for scalable and resilient applications.
• Lead the integration of cloud services with on-premise systems, ensuring a seamless and secure connection.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud deployments, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and implement API strategies to ensure smooth integration between various services.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in Java development and cloud architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development and cloud architectures.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in building cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architectures.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Experience in API design, including working with RESTful services and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Very good spoken English & French.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
