Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our team, driving the design and implementation of highly resilient infrastructure that supports decentralized applications and blockchain-based platforms. In this role, you will be at the forefront of integrating cloud-native technologies with distributed systems, helping to scale and optimize our platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, experience with Kubernetes at scale, and a working knowledge of Go and Python for automation.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that support decentralized applications and blockchain platforms.
• Use Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring reliability and high availability across multiple environments.
• Write Go and Python scripts for infrastructure automation and to support blockchain-focused use cases.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to create seamless CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast and secure deployment of distributed applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure, ensuring high performance and security across blockchain nodes and services.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard infrastructure and blockchain assets.
• Stay current with blockchain infrastructure trends and implement best practices to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) for automated provisioning and management.
• Experience with Kubernetes in a production environment, ideally working with decentralized applications or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go and Python for automation and blockchain-related infrastructure tasks.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their integration with blockchain-based solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and blockchain-specific monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex issues in cloud-based and decentralized infrastructures.
• Knowledge of security best practices, particularly in relation to blockchain infrastructure and networking.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with blockchain infrastructure, including node management and consensus mechanisms.
• Certifications in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with container security, service mesh technologies, and blockchain protocols.
• Experience building and scaling highly distributed systems, especially in the context of blockchain networks.
