We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Infrastructure Lead/Manager to join their IT team. This is a pivotal role that will drive the evolution of their IT infrastructure, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions.

Role: Infrastructure Team Lead/Manager

Location: Fully remote

Salary: £60 -75k

Role Overview:

As the Infrastructure Lead/Manager, you will be responsible for the hands-on management and optimization of the company’s IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing Windows/Microsoft environments, and SQL Server databases. You will lead a small team, ensuring the seamless operation and security of all systems.

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Windows/Microsoft infrastructure.
• Strong background in SQL Server DBA, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in managing servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• SolarWinds monitoring, HyperV, Azure, M365

Leadership Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a small team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.

Security and Compliance:

• In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience conducting security audits and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
