About the Team/Role

You will join a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly skilled engineering team dedicated to building one of the most cutting-edge Layer 2 solutions in the blockchain space. As a blockchain data integrations engineer, you'll be collecting, analyzing, and building dashboards around Scroll's on-chain data.

If you're passionate about Ethereum, excited about working with zkEVMs, and want to play a critical role in building the future of scalable blockchain infrastructure, this role is for you.

What you'll do:

• Manage and optimize databases to store blockchain data
• Implement and manage automated processes for ingesting, displaying, and monitoring blockchain data
• Update Scroll's website to surface import insights gathered from blockchain data
• Collaborate closely with the product and growth teams to ensure seamless integration and feature development.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code to improve performance and scalability.
  
  

Requirements:

• 2+ years as a data engineer
• Understanding of blockchain data structures and smart contract event data
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web development tools.
• Experience with building RESTful APIs and working with databases
• Ability to work independently and strong communication skills to gather requirements cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
