The Role

ROLE OBJECTIVES

This performance profile aims to attract an SEO Expert with a proven track record of developing & implementing successful SEO strategies for marketplaces by enhancing online visibility, driving organic traffic, & improving search engine rankings for Smile's retail & corporate dental cover.

Specifically, the role will be responsible for achieving aggressive new member and member retention growth targets.

This role will be reporting to the CMO and will be a part of the Retail Dental Cover & Corporate Dental Cover Divisions. The position will have full-time commitment of 40 hours per week with at least 6 hours of crossover b/w 8 am-5 pm GMT+10 (Brisbane, Australia)

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Organic Traffic Growth: Achieve & exceed targeted growth in organic website traffic for both retail & corporate dental cover offerings, developing new page types that leverage our marketplace content and drive increased visibility & exposure in SERPs. Research SEO best practices from other marketplaces and monitor competitor SEO performance & activity, identifying strengths, weaknesses, & opportunities for Smile to improve and differentiate its organic search presence.
• Keyword Rankings: Increase keyword rankings for targeted search terms & phrases, increasing visibility & click potential within organic search results.
• Click-Through Rate (CTR): Improve CTR metrics for organic search pages, optimising title tags, meta, & rich snippets to increase CTRs & drive more qualified traffic.
• Backlink Profile: Improve the quality & quantity of inbound links pointing to Smile's website, enhancing domain authority & trustworthiness in the eyes of search engines.
• Technical SEO Health: Conduct regular SEO audits & assessments of Smile's website, identifying technical issues, optimisation opportunities, & areas for improvement.
• Content Engagement: Increase engagement metrics, such as time on page, bounce rate, & pages per session, indicating the relevance & quality of website content to visitors.
• Local SEO Performance: Enhance local search visibility for Smile's retail dental cover offerings, improving rankings & visibility in local search results & Google My Business listings.
• AI-Driven Optimisation: Research and implement AI-driven optimisation techniques to improve SEO performance metrics.
