- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems using Node.js.
- Working with MongoDB and Elasticsearch to build and optimize databases and search capabilities.
- Collaborating with the product team to implement the product vision and develop new features.
- Designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices to support both internal and external applications.
- Implementing authentication, authorization, and security measures to protect data and applications.
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring coding standards are followed.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing the backend infrastructure to maintain high performance and scalability.
- Developing test automation in a continuous integration and deployment environment.
- Learning quickly and working collaboratively with a remote-first team across multiple time zones.
- You have at least 2+ years' experience in backend development, with strong expertise in Node.js.
- You have hands-on experience with MongoDB and Elasticsearch, and understand how to build scalable, high-performance systems.
- You have experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- You are familiar with authentication techniques such as OAuth and JWT.
- You write clean, maintainable code, and are comfortable working in an agile development environment.
- You are a quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and have excellent communication skills for working in a fully remote team.
