System Engineer / Administrator (relocation to Belgium)

We are seeking a talented System Engineer / Administrator willing to relocate to or currently located in Brussels, Belgium.

In this role, you will manage a complex Linux stack featuring Oracle, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and key applications. You will also play a significant role in improving and maintaining our automated deployment processes, utilizing Ansible, Docker, and scripting with Bash and Python.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support the critical platform, ensuring high availability and performance of systems.
• Manage a Linux stack with components such as Oracle, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and other essential applications.
• Improve and enhance the automated deployment stack using tools like Ansible, Docker, and custom Bash or Python scripts.
• Support the product teams by troubleshooting system issues and providing operational expertise.
• Identify, resolve, and automate tasks to streamline operational workflows.
• Collaborate with a Center of Expertise team to ensure smooth system operations and improvements.

Must Haves:

• Strong expertise as a System Administrator with extensive Linux administration skills.
• Experience with scripting using Bash and Python.
• Proficiency in tools such as Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, and Oracle.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with Kafka and Elasticsearch is considered an asset.
