The Role...

This is a customer facing consultancy and architecture role, focussed on creating innovative Network solutions to meet complex business needs. You'll use your experience of having worked in the IT Service / IT Consultancy space, and in-depth knowledge of enterprise Network solutions, to drive customers on their cloud transformation journey.

• Lead technical Pre-Sales conversations, to scope and discover customer need.
• Propose solutions for offshore financial service organisations and global enterprises that align to networking best practices.
• Own technical architecture lifecycle including HLD/LLD.
• Implement and deliver Network solutions across Cisco Networking, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Watchguard and other major vendors in the networking space.

You'll have least 5 years experience in a customer facing consultancy role, working with enterprise organisations to scope, design and implement:

1. Network Design and Architecture

• Network topology design
• Network infrastructure planning
• Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)

2. Routing and Switching

• Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching
• VLANs, STP, and network segmentation

3. Security

• Network security design and implementation
• Firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
• Security protocols (e.g., IPsec, SSL/TLS)
• Zero Trust Architecture

4. Wireless Networking

• Wireless LAN (WLAN) design and deployment
• Wireless security protocols (e.g., WPA3)
• RF planning and site surveys

5. Cloud Networking

• Integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Hybrid cloud networking
• Cloud security and compliance

6. Monitoring and Management

• Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
• Performance management
• Incident response and troubleshooting

7. Protocols and Standards

• TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP
• MPLS and QoS
• Network standards (e.g., IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.11)
