Java Developer Contract

This company who operate in the Data & Analytics space are looking for someone strong on implementation.

The Project is mainly Greenfield, with some aspects of replacing existing Tech. The systems is a Notifications system, which notifies their clients of significant instances in real time, allowing them to make informed and up to date decisions.

You will come in at the beginning of a new project, which is designed to integrate multiple company systems into the notification system mentioned above. This is a small team of 3, with the line manager also contributing to the success of the technical side of the project. This is a heavy technical coding role, specific experience in Java & Typescript on Node is mandatory

Any experience with Scala / Kafka / SQL or NoSQL / Vue or React / General DevOps GitHub, Helm, Kubernetes or DataDog is beneficial, though not mandatory

Paying up to £600 per day, fully remote across the UK and is a 3 month contract, with potential to extend based on project success.
