Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong focus on Network Operations Center (NOC) responsibilities to join our team on a 12-month contract. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and services. This is a fully remote position based in Poland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the health and performance of our network and systems.
- Respond to and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
- Collaborate with NOC team members to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Develop and implement monitoring and alerting solutions to detect and respond to anomalies.
- Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Maintain and update documentation for network architecture and operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for network incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role with a focus on NOC.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with network automation tools and practices.
- Knowledge of security best practices in network operations.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced technology company.
