Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining APIs, handling integration work, and ensuring seamless end-to-end deployment of your code. This position requires working across Python and .NET environments, so knowledge of both technologies is critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs using Python, ensuring high-performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with Front End developers and other team members on integration tasks.
• Deploy your own code from development through to production.
• Work with existing code written in .NET and integrate it with new Python services.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.
• Ensure code quality and participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Python and building Back End systems, particularly API development.
• Hands-on experience with .NET or knowledge sufficient to integrate and troubleshoot with existing .NET code.
• Proven track record of deploying your own code in a production environment.
• Experience with integration work, handling multiple systems and ensuring smooth communication between them.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices for code versioning and review.
