YouTube Video Editor & Strategist

Strand Media is seeking a talented and creative YouTube Video Editor & Strategist to help grow our founder Ole Strand’s YouTube channel, which is focused on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads strategies.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who can produce high-quality, engaging long-form YouTube videos and contribute to our growth strategy. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled video editor but also understands YouTube SEO, analytics, and content optimization. Your goal? Help us grow the channel from 2K to 10K subscribers within 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

🎥 Edit and produce 8 monthly long-form videos (10-20 mins)

📱 Create and edit 20-30 short-form videos per month for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

🔍 Optimize videos for YouTube (SEO, tags, thumbnails) to drive views and subscriber growth

📊 Analyze YouTube metrics and adjust content strategies to improve performance

🤝 Collaborate with our creative team to align videos with brand strategy and goals

🗓 Assist in managing the YouTube content calendar

Qualifications:

✔️ Proven experience in YouTube video editing (please provide portfolio)

✔️ Strong understanding of YouTube SEO and channel growth strategies

✔️ Familiarity with digital marketing, especially Facebook/Meta Ads (preferred)

✔️ Experience working with thumbnails and video optimization for maximum engagement
