Senior Low Latency Software Engineer (Trading Platform)

About the Role

We're looking for a senior software engineer to join a Electronic Trading team based in the APAC region. This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of a next-generation, low-latency execution platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain a high-performance electronic execution platform
• Create solutions for platform monitoring, trade reconciliation, and application recovery
• Collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, and clients on product development initiatives
• Enhance and maintain testing frameworks, development tools, and environments
• Drive Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with strong technical proficiency in Java, C#, or C++
• Proven track record in developing low latency platforms
• Robust understanding of automated testing techniques
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes
• Excellent multitasking abilities with a talent for goal-setting and meeting deadlines
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating and comprehending complex concepts in a diverse, multicultural environment
• Working knowledge of Python would be beneficial
