Role: Cisco SD-WAN Network Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months+ (With a possibility of extension)
Work Hours: Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India or LATAM Countries)
Our client is looking for an experienced Cisco SD-WAN Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with a large enterprise network. As an SD-WAN Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Cisco SD-WAN network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Our client is looking for an experienced Cisco SD-WAN Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with a large enterprise network. As an SD-WAN Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Cisco SD-WAN network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain SDWAN networks according to industry best practice
- Collaborate with customers to understand their networking requirements and work with Architects and Sr. Network Engineers to provide effective solutions
- Configure and mange Cisco SDWAN routers via vManage based on company standards
- Knowledge of network automation tools such as Ansible, automation tools and or API scripting with Python
- Conduct research on networking issues and products as required
- Provide excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and technical support
- Minimum three years of experience implementing SDWAN networks following industry best practices.
- Highly skilled in consulting with customers
- Strong IP communication and routing knowledge is required (OSPF, BGP).
- Working technical knowledge of network and security protocols (IPSEC VPN, AAA, Dot1x, TustSec, NAT, QoS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is recommended.
- Certifications in industry-leading network products: Cisco (CCNP)
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
