Senior Data Analyst

A client of Jobwhyze LTD seeks an experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in data analysis and visualization tools.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in BI/Data analysis;
• Experience with Tableau;
• Ability to create comprehensive research and data visualization;
• Experience developing complex data structures and queries using Tableau Prep;
• Full proficiency in SQL;
• Solid knowledge of key product metrics, experience in building funnels and making recommendations based on them;
• Understanding of both statistics and regression methods;
• Knowledge of statistics fundamentals and experimental design;
• Experience with A/B and Multivariate testing techniques and measurements;
• Experience in delivering analytical solutions for complex product-related tasks;
• Accountability, strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy);
• Experience with Machine learning;
• Experience in creating prediction models and segmentation;
• Data management skills, including extraction, cleaning, and transformation.

Responsibilities:

1. Being familiar with the business and problems, communicating with business and data-savvy, explaining how their challenges are solved through data:

• finding data patterns and dependencies between data and metrics;
• research and draw conclusions on results of A/B tests and provide insights for improvement;
• operational monitoring of key metrics and determining the causes of deviations from the expected values;
• make data analysis to identify trends and patterns and actionable insights
• finding bottlenecks in the product and offering ideas for their improvement;
• evaluation of implemented product initiatives;
• providing analytical support to different product teams.

2. Design and implementation of BI solutions using Tableau tools:

• design, develop, and deploy business intelligence solutions for performing deep data analysis;
• create reports, visualizations, and dashboards for interactive representation of essential factors of overall growth;
• create custom charts and custom calculations and use filters & graphs for a better understanding;
• creating timelines for growth trends and expected outcomes;
• creating documentation explaining reports, metrics, data models, relations, and algorithms.

3. Working with other team members for business suggestions and improvement:

• data mining, importing, and transforming data from various sources like sql servers;
• working on data models and relationship management to get better insights;
• data documentation and explaining data models, relations, and algorithms.
