Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Dublin (Hybrid Working)
€120,000 - €170,000 + Bonus & Stock Options
AI connect are partnering with a global AI company to help them build their diverse machine learning research team. The company have one of the most innovative AI platforms which uses a variety of large language models to support user experience both from a customer and employee perspective using state of the art AI agents and AI copilots.
The role:
- You’ll work as part of a team responsible for defining new ML features, researching appropriate algorithms, and rapidly getting first prototypes in to customers’ hands.
- You’ll work alongside ML product engineers enabling you to move to production fast, often shipping to beta in weeks after a successful offline test.
- You’ll be passionate about applying machine learning technology, working in a team that have productized everything from classic supervised models, to cutting-edge unsupervised clustering algorithms, to novel applications of transformer neural networks.
- Taking algorithms which work offline, and putting them in a production setting.
- Run production ML infrastructure and evolve it over time. Help develop new data infrastructure to enable exploration.
- Create processes for large scale data analyses, model development, validation, scalability, optimisation and implementation
- Work alongside product and design teams with the aim of creating better outcomes for users.
- Raise the bar for technical standards, performance, reliability, and operational excellence
Skills & Experience:
- Advanced engineering skills with tools used to write, test, deploy, debug and monitor software.
- Highly experienced in a production environment, with contributions to the design and architecture of distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of public cloud services with a preference for AWS.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices highly advantageous.
- Significantly demonstrated impact that your engineering work has had on the product and/or the teams
- Have led projects from a technical perspective and have provided support to more junior engineers.
- PhD or other research level experience highly advantageous.
Please note, the role will most likely involve relocating to a EU based location and compensation will be provided for any relocation costs.
