Founding Engineer

Our founding team, Rory and Johnny, have years of experience in property management and software engineering at some of the world's largest, fastest growing companies companies. As a small, close-knit team, we're looking for someone who shares our passion for innovation and execution and wants to build an industry defining product.

We’re seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our gen AI startup at the earliest stage. You’ll work closely with Rory, our CTO, and take direct ownership of key features, making a tangible impact on the product from day one.

As a Founding Engineer, you’ll have the freedom to operate in a greenfield environment, with high autonomy. You’ll need to understand customer needs and translate them into innovative code that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in property management.

We’re looking for a Founding Backend Engineer who:

• Has demonstrable experience with our tools and stack: Node.js, Express, Postgres, SQLModel/SQLAlchemy, LlamaIndex/LangChain, and Next.js. Ideally more than 5 years experience across those.
• Is passionate about generative AI and its transformative potential.
• Has exposure to (or interest in) building with LLMs and autonomous agents.
• Bonus points for infrastructure experience—we’re on AWS.
• Thrives in a fast-moving startup environment with ownership and autonomy over your work.
• Is eager to disrupt the industry and create something innovative, while avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy.
