We’re now looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help us operate, monitor and maintain our large-scale hybrid cloud operations, primarily focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The Job role is part of our cross-functional R&D team, reporting to the CTO.

The ideal candidate will have current advanced knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform and services like Cloud Run and Kubernetes and having a strong background in traditional operations and a thorough understanding of server management, networking, incident management and storage clusters.

Job Contents

• Responsible for the maintenance and operation of our large-scale hybrid cloud infrastructure with a focus on GCP, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
• The existing CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration, primarily using Docker, and working with development to support seamless software deployment across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Manage traditional data center components in our hybrid cloud setup, including IIS, SQL and HBase, together with our external operations partners.
• Closely with the Data Science and Development teams to ensure the production platform remains robust and scalable, aligning with business needs and growth.
• Resolve any issues related to the production infrastructure, acting quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime, and working closely with our external operation partners.
• System configurations and setup to ensuring compliance and security.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a DevOps or Operations role, with a strong emphasis on managing large-scale production infrastructures, particularly GCP.
• Previous experience in Incident Management.
• Experience in Docker and containerization, and in maintaining production environments in a SaaS context.
• Traditional data center administration and storage technologies like Elasticsearch and HBase is highly advantageous.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Communication skills and proficiency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
