Network Administrator

Network Administrator - IT- Lima, Argentina - 12-Month Contract

Network specialist is needed for a 12 month initial contract position, working fully remotely from any Latin America location. You'll work EST time zone hours, delivering network services as part of a global team. You'll need strong English communication skills and a background in network support and network administration, ideally in a large data centre or technical environment. Single stage Teams interviews will happen in early July, with someone starting the role in August.

As Network Administrator Your Role Will Include

• Network operational support
• Responding to network related incidents, problems, and user requests resolution
• Network device installations and upgrades
• Preventive network tasks (including window maintenances)
• Technical Documentation
• Review of network equipment logs and alerts
• Telephone “stand-by” support outside business hours when required.
  
  

You Will Have

• Experience in large IT environments and recent network focus.
• Experience with networking routing protocols like OSPF and BGP
• Networking switching techniques
• Networking security techniques
• Palo Alto or Checkpoint Firewalls experience
• Ability to configure, monitor, and support Cisco AnyConnect with NAC solutions (Cisco ISE or Microsoft NPS)
• Ability to configure, monitor, and support network infrastructure based on: Cisco ACI or NX-OS switches, Cisco IOS based ISR/ASR routers and Catalyst switches
• F5 LTM load balancer experience
• Fluent English language skills
