Data Architect- Global Tech Consultancy

Our client, a global Tech Consultancy is seeking a Data Architect to work remotely on a high-impact UK public sector project through a global technology consulting firm. This role will involve designing and implementing data architecture solutions using Azure Data Bricks, data lakes, and data catalogues. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with excellent stakeholder management and the ability to provide thought leadership in data architecture.

• Data Architecture Design: Design and implement data architectures that align with business and compliance needs.
• Azure Data Bricks Solutions: Leverage Azure Data Bricks for scalable data processing and analytics.
• Data Lake Management: Architect and manage data lakes for optimised data storage and retrieval.
• Data Catalogue: Establish and maintain a data catalogue to enhance data discoverability.
• Documentation: Write clear, concise documentation based on business findings and technical solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understand their business requirements, and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Subject Matter Expertise & Thought Leadership: Provide a level of expertise in data architecture, offering guidance and thought leadership within the project.

• Strong experience with Azure Data Bricks and data lakes.
• Proficiency in data catalogue creation and Visio for architecture diagrams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to combine deep data architecture knowledge with business understanding to provide tailored solutions.
• Experience writing clear, technical documentation aligned with business findings.
