Front-End Developer - Angular 19/ TypeScript - 6 month contract
Job Description
This Chicago-based software company is building a new product and needs to add 2-3 Front-End contractors to help augment the existing team for the next 6 months. This is a greenfield application, looking for Front-End engineers with strong Angular Experience. Ideally, you have experience working with Angular 19 with Typescript and JSON. This serverless application uses AWS, Lamdas, and ties into a NoSQL database. You will need to be able to take cards, wire them up, and also deal with some of the business logic on the front end. The role is fully remote, but a strong preference for folks in Illinois, Wisconsin, or Indiana.
Responsibilities
- 3-5 years of front-end development experience, strongly focusing on Angular.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with the Angular framework 18/19 , including components, services, modules, and routing.
- Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- 2-3+ years of hands-on cloud programming experience, preferably AWSon programming
- Agile product development experience in high-growth tech companies
- Experience with NodeJS, or C# would be a strong plus. Any experience building API's would be a strong plus.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- Nrwl/NX MonoRepo experience is a big plus
- AWS (EC2,SQS/SNS,Lambda,DynamoDB)
- NoSQL Experience (DynamoDB)
- Microservices, Message Queues and Caching Layers (Redis)
- Strong unit testing skills (XUnit/Jest/Cypress)
- Git (AWS CodeCommit)
This role is fully remote and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a SaaS company prior. No C2C or Sponsorship.
