C++ Software Test Engineer (Onsite in Eindhoven)
Job Description
I am looking for experienced Software Test Engineers with C++ experience to join my client in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
This is an on-site job in Eindhoven so if you are not local but still interested you will have to relocate there.
My client's mission is to develop and manufacture high-tech modules and systems for customers in high-end equipment. Your team is responsible for the development of these mechatronic modules and systems in continuous alignment with the company factories.
You will:
- Work with Software Test Architect in carrying out plans and strategies to drive software faults to zero from a test-based approach.
- Support and work on the competence of (automated) testing within the software department.
- Support in setting up and continuously improving the test automation framework/architecture and CI/CD pipeline in close cooperation with the software architect and your team.
- Support the development of test automation scripts and implement them as part of the framework/pipeline.
- Align within the multidisciplinary teams on the testing approach and testing process.
- Contribute in performing software quality assessments and report the results in terms of test coverage and remaining risks.
- Execute test per requirement.

You have:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in software verification and validation roles in a technical environment.
- Experience with test automation development and with state-of-the-art tools (must have).
- Experience and knowledge of programming in C & C++ (must have).
- 2.5+ years of experience working on ASML projects (must have).
- Experience and knowledge of Python (nice to have).
- Certification at ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent (nice to have).
- Experience with supporting the setup and improvement of test frameworks.
- Experience in defining and implementing test processes.
- Experience with requirements management, Agile / SCRUM methodologies and Test Driven Development (nice to have).
- A pro-active, analytical, creative personality with a can-do mentality.
- Good communication skills verbal and written in English.
